Counselor-in-Training Programs
Entering grades 9 and 10
(Upon successful completion of the program, each CIT will receive an honorarium)
Through our two Counselor-in-Training (CIT) programs, teens continue experiencing the magic of camp while helping to create an amazing summer for the next generation of campers.
CIT I/Etgar
In CIT I/Etgar, teens divide their time between learning valuable camp counseling skills by working with children and participating in meaningful community service projects. CIT I/Etgar teens get a taste of being a camp counselor, enjoy exciting trips with Teen Travel campers, and contribute to making the world a better place!
CIT II/Gesher
In CIT II/Gesher, teens deepen their impact on campers’ lives, learning about youth relationship skills, child development, and techniques for leading activities. Teens gain hands-on experience in working with children while also going on several fun trips.
Minimum registration is required.
